I want to crawl sooo bad!

Rachel and I have found out that Landyn tries his best to crawl, only when there is something in front of him that he wants. At night it is his bottle. In this case it was the camera. He almost got it.

Yes, this is the last vacuum cleaner we will ever buy.

Rachel and I decided we needed a new vacuum for the house. Now that Landyn is getting ready to crawl, it seemed necessary. We purchased a Dyson DC24. The reason we purchased this one, was because it is only 11 lbs. Rachel loves it. It is light enough for her to carry upstairs, and picks up more than we knew had existed in dirt and hair in our house. It is truly AMAZING! The Dyson is hopefully the last vacuum we will buy. I say that, so it is on record, if we ever say we need a new vacuum, there had better be a good reason. This one was not cheap. Worth it, but not cheap.

A few hours at the Splash Park

Rachel and Landyn went to the Splash Park in Smyrna on Friday. Rachel said he had a lot of fun. He giggled and played in the water, and watched the bigger kids playing as well. We got a little blow up pool for the back yard, but I think it has a small hole. It does not stay inflated overnight. I will have to look into that. Looking forward to fun in the sun this summer though. Hope you enjoy the pictures. There will be more to come.

Day Trip to Chattanooga

I have not posted in a few weeks so I will try to catch everybody up. This past weekend Rachels' Mom & Dad (Grammy & Pappy) went with us to Chattanooga for the day. We started out our visit to the Chickamauga Battlefield. (Yes, I spelled it correct) We ate lunch at "Sticky Fingers" in downtown Chattanooga after riding on the Electric Bus (CARTA) from the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Holiday Inn. After lunch, another short bus ride down to the Creative Discovery Museum. I think Landyn had fun at the Discovery Museum although at his age it's hard to tell. Everything new to him is fun.
